| It starts with YOU deciding that something has to change. And this change begins with an awareness of what you are thinking and feeling. Seems easy, yes? Actually, in our present world of constant data being pushed at us, this awareness takes a commitment to cut down these distractions so a thought/emotion may be noticed, evaluated, and a conscious outcome offered rather than just giving a reaction based on past experiences, even past life traumas. Ok, sounds good, but what would that look like? An example.... You are afraid to leave your house because something bad will happen to it while you are gone (for this example these could be called negative thoughts and emotions. Actually negative and positive are just human constructs-more about that in a later blog). That means every time you leave your house, these usually unconscious negative thoughts and emotions go with you and guide your experience and reactions. When you get home, having had this thought time after time, you approach your home wondering if or what has gone wrong. How bad is it, how do you cope? When you get home and all is well, you think "Whew! Dodged that one". With this, you are becoming more and more trapped in that experience. What if you began to change your thoughts and emotions and freed yourself? When you leave your house, you stop and feel your emotions of doom and look for thoughts of invasion. Keep looking, they are there even if you are not yet aware of them. Keep looking, honestly. Then recognize them as your negative thoughts and emotions. Do you want to keep them? Most would say "No Way!". So you pick a thought, for example, "My house will be burglarized before I get back". You may say, "I don't think that". Maybe not a that minute, but it is well entrenched in your subconscious now after repeatedly thinking it. Once you identify that thought, turn it around to a positive thought, "My house is always kept safe and protected by (your term for a loving Higher Power)". Now comes the trust in your Higher Power and "fake it until you make it" ideology. As you walk out of the house or anytime you worry about your house, you immediately replace that thought with "My house is always kept safe and protected." Then to emphasize it, you SAY it strongly out loud, "MY HOUSE IS ALWAYS SAFE AND PROTECTED" as many times as it takes to make you stop and actually listen to what you are saying. Then FEEL that feeling you get when you feel the house is safe. And then THANK your Higher Power for keeping your house safe!!! Why do this? Saying these words, feeling the new emotion, and adding to them with the higher frequency of gratitude, begins to change your story. Saying these words brings a moment of relief and allows the energetic meaning of them to sink in. Also on the energetic level, you are putting out there that your house is safe and that is what you receive back (more about Law of Attraction in a later blog). Ok, you know you are just saying the words at first. But when said enough times, you begin to feel different, you worry less, and eventually, for many, your story changes. For those that have practiced this without a story change, then you need to look into past life traumas that need to be released via energy healing. You may hear the phase, "comes up to come out"? The negative situations we encounter are usually invitations to learn or finish learning an evolutionary life lesson. These situations come up so that they can be released all at once or in layers. | |
